| I’m an Outfit Blogger that’s been posting outfits on the web since May of 2006. I started out posting looks on mystylediary.net. Cheap Chica highlights one of my earlier outfits here. I quit posting on that website in late 2007 and decided to strictly post my looks through a blog format. I usualy post on a bi-weekly basis. I also want to mention that I’m an outfit blogger and not a lifestyle or personal style blogger. I do not showcase any personal aspects of my life such as uploading photos of family, friends, vacations, night club scenes, my front door, etc. nor do I get into any real details about the personal aspects of my life (unless I want too). I post outfits, that’s all. I feature what I believe to be upload worthy outfits and I strictly focus on highlighting one of two shots of a particular look, which is how the original concept of posting daily outfits or looks started out. No fluff just looks. I also highlight any deals or steals I find in the retail stores or on-line. Every now and then I may post a cosmetic find and some brief info on skin or haircare. Prior to outfit blogging, I had an personal editorial-style blog in 2003 using Movable Type which was self-hosted. I’ve been on the web designing websites since 1997. I was on the internet during its infancy around 1995. I think I have a long history on the web and I have seen it really evolve. I’m not a newbie, I’m a veteran – I’ve been out here in cyberspace for a long time! |
