Pinstripe Shirt and Jean Trousers

I had a training class to coordinate on Friday, so I figured this would be a good look and I could still kinda be dressy casual for Friday, but still rocking jeans.

I had a date with the girls at work for Happy Hour after the J.O.B. so I also wanted to wear my heels and look cute.  I figured this look would do the trip! I also decided to try out my new earrings I scored at a flea market for $3.00.  Yes ladies three bucks!  I fell in love with these as soon as I set eyes on them.  I decided to try and give you a decent close up shot below.  I had a great new Canon camera, but I have yet to find out how to make this camera give me amazing pictures.  I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong with the settings.

My little $3 Eiffel Tower Earrings I got at a local flea market

Any hoo, I hope everybody enjoys  Labor Day, won’t be another one until the Holidays get here!  I’ll be in NYC in a few weeks toward the middle of the month, hopefully I can squeeze in a sample sale, we shall see.  Here’s hoping everyone has a great upcoming week!

  1. Absolutely adorable! You look so refreshingly spunky and ready to paint the town, the same color as your shoes!

You look so adorable and the red shoes are fabulous. You inspired me to lose weight and I went on weight watchers, The pounds are falling off and I am feeling great. The only problem is my neck which at my “old” age seems to be sagging a little but I will continue to work on it and see what happens.

Thanks so much for inspiring me to get healthy. You go girl!!

  6. Very professional and cute at the same time. Love the red heels and the tie. :-)

  11. You look soooo good! I love love love love love this look. So sassy and stylish. Menswear inspired looks are one of my favorites. I usually wear oxfords when I do a menswear inspired look, but I love your interpretation with the pumps. so cute! You have inspired me to try this look:-)

Wow, you look amazing! Now I’m really regretting not getting a striped shirt that I saw at a sale a few weeks ago — I didn’t know how to wear it, but I just love how you’ve styled yours!

Thank you so much for commenting on my blog, friend — Devindra’s growing like a weed and generally doing well, but he has a speech delay, so we’re starting on Speech Therapy for him. But now we have to get a neuropsych evaluation for him to rule out worse things like autism. Sigh. I’ve been sooo stressed about it all. I’m sure he’s just a normal kid (with a speech delay), but who knows. I’m trying to keep it from driving me crazy.

Hope all’s well with you! I’ll update on my blog soon too. :)
