I received my skirt from and I was satisfied with the quality, however the skirt ran small (why am I surprised).

I ordered a 4 and it felt like a 2. Its a tight fit so my deriare is really showcased in this skirt, not that thats a bad thing. I’m 5 pounds overweight right now, so once I get in the gym, which I have yet to do since renewing my membership, I think the fit will be more to my liking.
I got this super cute blouse off the clearance rack at Belk for $12.

 Blouse – Belk

Skirt – Newport News

Belt – Forever 21

 Shoes – Nine West

Ok, that’s it, pencil skirt for me, next project! LOL!
I have this really cute white w/pink pinstripe shirting fabric that I’m going to make a cute short sleeve button up top with, and then I’m going to make a gray (which I think is going to be a hot color for Spring) and make a pencil skirt out of it. I’m going to top it off with a black belt around the top and some cute black or yellow heels. Whacha think?

I think I’m going to use alot of lavendar, bright yellow, ocean blue, dusty rose, grey, leopard, fuschia and throw some earth tones in here and there for Spring.

@ Kimmie – I think that outfit sounds like a winner! Might have to steal that look ;-). I’m starting to see bright colors in the stores so I’m thinking that will be the trend this Spring besides soft pastel neutrals.

I know they look for you everyday at work. You would be the highlight of my day. You seem like the kind of coworker that would help your day go by faster and more bearable. :0)

One of my favorites! I might copy you this week…..

  17. Nice! I’m diggin’ on the grey/ It’s inspired me to get a little springtime into my daily routine. Too much winter here in NY!

Off Topic but had to ask- have you seen the Hayden Harnett bags at Target? Wondering what you think of them. I really like HH main line of stuff but tend to shop them off Ebay as they can be pricey. It was nice to grab 2 of their bags and the umbrella from Target and be able to enjoy their style and design without the usual cost.

yep, yep – I like this line and plan to get the brown chain bag and clutch next week. Never search her on Ebay, been trying to find a red satchel by Michelle Frantz that was out like 3 years ago. Ebay its not what it use to be so I’m double searching on Bonanzale as well. Some of Ebay’s powerseller migrated over there.

  18. I hear you about how Ebay has changed. Not much in the way of bargains there any more. The only other auction type site I’ve used is iOffer. They are good and much more reasonable with fees and such but traffic there is slow. Unfortunately, everybody just defaults to Ebay.

Thanks for the link to Bonanzale, I put it in my favorites to check out at home!

  19. Oh, and I bought the HH umbrella, the chain bag in black and the hobo bag in black. It was my mid-winter splurge. The umbrella is very cute and sassy, it is a bit on the flimsy side although designed well. I would suggest being a bit dainty with that one. The hobo bag is really nice, holds tons of stuff, wears comfortably on the shoulder or hand carried and has good quality metal zippers on the outside closures. I love metal zippers on a bag! Haven’t used the chain bag yet but just had to have! :)

@ solitairemare – okay there was some complains / reviews on the target website about the chain handle on the hobo bag. Alot of people said it was not comfortable and the handle was awkward. But I checked it out at the store and I was happy with what I say and how the bag handled. Good looking out!
