He’s a lover, not a fighter

1900’s photo. Two young women standing behind a man with a smirk
on his face.

They vowed to always stay together

This photo was extremely damaged, but I couldn’t see this great
photo not seeing the light of day because of it. So I worked on restoring
it until it was decent enough to post. Wonderful image of three pretty young
girls in their winter gear. 1940’s

the beginning of lifelong friendships

Probably early 1930’s or late 1920’s. Group of friends
most likely on a college campus! Love that flapper style.

The spot

Crowded 1940’s era bar or club, must have been a Saturday night at a very popular establishment.

Around Town

Two woman and a man posing in front of a 1920’s Ford. This photo is giving me
Bonnie and Clyde vibes. LOL

The Que Que Club

A 1930’s high yellow social club of mostly mulattos.
It’s really crazy how these little ‘clubs’ were allowed to exist and thrive
back then….well for all I know it could still be going on today , but on
the low. In any event, it’s history so it will be included in this
on-line collection.

She held him down

Nice looking and well-dressed, not sure if they are a young couple
or just relatives. They do resemble each other some what. Could be
middle class relations as they don’t give me couple vibe. Both
have a serious demeanor. Could have had a few words before the photo;
as their attitudes reflect in the picture. 1900’s.
